George Mills

European Silver Medalist

and Olympic Finalist

There's always something more to do, always another goal, always another race to run. For me it's never ending, but that's how I want it to be."

George Mills

Olympian and European Silver Medalist

George Mills is a testament to the power of routine, repetition, and focus. Bursting onto the international scene this year with a stunning 12:58 indoor 5000m run in Boston, Mills has swiftly ascended to the upper echelons of athletics. His rigorous commitment to training, and finihsing in the top 2 at the Brithish Championships, earned him spots in two events at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he had to endure 5 races, across just 8 days, before reaching the Olympic final.

Reflecting his relentless drive, and despite his incrediuble achievements, George shared, “Being honest, I don’t think I will ever be completely satisfied. There’s always something more to do, always another goal, always another race to run. For me it’s never ending, but that’s how I want it to be, and why I can’t go out of the zone.” This philosophy encapsulates his approach to his sport and life—constantly pushing boundaries and setting new benchmarks. Just days after his Olympic final, Geroge's coach informed him that he had Covid in the lead up to the event. George has taken a good off season, visiting his family home in Mallorca, and is back into winter training, leading into the indoor 2025 season.
