"I use these when I am training at the ice rink and they really help my body to prepare and recover. It is high humidity when you skate and I feel the benefits of faster hydration and salt replacement. I also feel less achy after off ice training so that tells me it's helping my muscle recovery too. Can you take every day? Even on rest days to help with energy levels/recovery?: Hey Emma! With a concentrated dose of Sodium included at 1000mg, we would typically recommend use post exercise. However, you can of course use them on rest days to support hydration and recovery ( I do so ) The decision to do so is entirely up to you, but I would recommend taking into consideration the salt intake alongside your regular rest day routine.
Do these have added Vitamin C? I can’t supplement too much Vitamin C and finding it (understandably) hard to find electrolytes that don’t have it added!: Hey Soph! Thanks for reaching out. Our electrolytes contain no added Vitamin C!
Instructions say to mix 30 minutes before exercise. Should the 500 ml also be consumed 30 minutes before exercise?: Hi Sean! So this is up to personal preference. It can be taken beforehand and then your body is drawing from those excess reserves during exercise. My preference, and to avoid consuming alot of fluids before training, is to take them during and after, to help replenish the salts lost through sweat during exercise
