Celebrating World Swim Day with Speedo

On World Swim Day, the synergy between heritage and innovation took centre stage as we partnered with Speedo to create a truly memorable event. This collaboration brought together two worlds—running and swimming—united by a shared passion for movement and community.

Starting at the Puresport Hackney Clubhouse, the event attracted over 250 enthusiastic participants for a vibrant 5km run through East London, culminating at the iconic London Aquatics Centre, a legacy venue from the 2012 Olympic Games. This was not just a run; it was a celebration of fitness and the spirit of togetherness. With pace groups catering to everyone from newcomers to seasoned athletes.

One of the highlights of the day was the swim session led by double Olympic Silver medalist Jazz Carlin. Her presence was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when passion meets dedication. Participants, some of whom had never thought of themselves as athletes, found themselves inspired to push beyond their perceived limits. One participant, who previously identified as “not athletic,” said she left the event with a newfound sense of confidence. This transformation encapsulates what Puresport strives to achieve—a community where everyone can discover their potential.

Throughout the day, Puresport's Ultra Electrolytes kept everyone fuelled and energised.
This event perfectly illustrated the essence of both brands: Speedo's rich heritage in swimming combined with Puresport's fresh, community-driven approach to running and exercise. This is what Puresport is about - creating a space where everyone belongs, where trying something new isn't just encouraged, it's celebrated.

A heartfelt thank you to Speedo for partnering with us to create such an unforgettable experience. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, reminding us all why we love what we do. As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue building this community where everyone is encouraged to embrace new challenges, whether in the water or on the track. Here’s to more adventures in movement!
