“Best electrolytes for performance”

1,000+ 5-star reviews

“Train for longer, not so wrecked.”

Started using these for my training as I sweat a lot but was struggling with cramps and feeling just generally wrecked! I’m able to train for longer and not feel so awful after!

Amy L.

“No more headaches post run.”

I get very sweaty when running — so much so you could exfoliate my face with the salt deposits! I recover much better from my runs and can get on with my day with no headache.

Laura M.

“Severe headaches — gone.”

I’ve been using Puresport electrolytes for around 3 weeks and the results have been incredible. I sweat a lot and suffer from severe headaches, yet since taking the electrolytes I haven’t had any!

Tom

“No more leg cramps.”

Probably the best tasting electrolytes for me. Keeps me hydrated before or after a run and I definitely don’t get those leg cramps now.

Ali H.

“Cured my headaches.”

Pretty sure it’s cured my headaches.

Nicola H.

“When I don’t use these I get muscle cramps.”

I run a few times a week and find when I don’t use these that I get muscle cramps. At first I wasn’t sure about the salty taste but they’ve really grown on me.

Rebecca C.

“No issues with cramping.”

Took these for a few days before a local Hyrox Sim. Great taste and had no issues with cramping during the sim. Tasted a lot better than the other 3-letter brand I’d been using.

Kenny B.

“Not left feeling totally run ragged.”

I lose a lot of sweat during my runs and find these salty electrolytes to work amazing. They definitely replace what I’ve lost so I’m not left feeling totally run ragged post race.

Danielle R.

“Less lethargic, more energy.”

After taking Puresport Ultra Electrolytes, I feel much more lively, less lethargic and more energy. I definitely need the hydration and energy to continue my demanding activities, which includes running.

Molly G.

Running consumes key minerals fast.
Ultra tops them up.

Water helps, but hard runs take more than water.

More Questions?

  • Water replaces water. Hard runs sweat out sodium, potassium, and magnesium, minerals water doesn't contain. Drinking more without replacing those just dilutes what's left.

  • Not for a hard run. Depending on pace and temperature, you can lose 500 to 1500mg of sodium per hour through sweat. 1000mg replaces what a serious session takes out, most electrolytes replace a fraction of that.

  • Any of the three works. Before on hot days or long runs, during for sessions over 60 minutes, after to recover what the run took out. Most runners find after the session is the easiest habit to build.

  • Half a sachet is enough. That gives you around 500mg sodium, plenty for a 5k or an easy effort. Save the full sachet for the sessions that actually wipe you out.

  • You can taste the sodium, but it's balanced, closer to a light sports drink than sea water. Most runners find it noticeably less artificial than standard tabs. The variety pack is the best way to find your flavour.

  • Zero sugar means zero sugar-related gut issues, which is the most common complaint with sports drinks. Mix with at least 500ml of water and you're unlikely to have any problems.

  • Yes. Alcohol depletes sodium and fluid faster than most runs do. A sachet before bed and one in the morning replaces what's missing. Same mechanism, different cause.

  • Yes. Any sustained effort that makes you sweat takes the same minerals out. The product is runner-native but the formula works for anyone who finishes a session feeling depleted.

  • No. You can buy one-off whenever you need. The subscription saves money per sachet and means you never run out mid-training block, but there's no obligation.

  • There's a 30-day money-back guarantee. If it's not right for you, you won't be out of pocket.
