We've run the numbers for you. One gel, every 30 minutes. Puresport’s Orange Energy Gel is designed for runners and endurance athletes who want simple, effective fuelling. Each gel delivers 30g of DualCarb™ energy in a precise 1:0.8 glucose-to-fructose ratio, supporting sustained performance and reducing gut discomfort. The light orange flavour is refreshing, easy to take mid-run, and made with natural ingredients to help you fuel smarter, train stronger, and recover faster, every 30 minutes. Available in 6-pack, 12-pack and 24-pack sizes.

Key Benefits

Consistent fuelling is essential for endurance, performance, and recovery. During runs over 60 minutes, the body burns through stored carbohydrates, leading to fatigue and slower recovery if not replenished. Puresport Energy Gels provide 30g of DualCarb™ energy in an optimal glucose-to-fructose ratio, helping you sustain energy, avoid gut discomfort, and bounce back faster. Designed with runners in mind, the light, natural flavours make fuelling simple, enjoyable, and effective, in training and on race day.

Full Ingredients List

Maltodextrin
A fast-releasing carbohydrate derived from natural starch. It provides quick, accessible energy to help maintain performance during longer runs and intense training.

Gelling Agent (Pectin)
A natural fibre found in fruits, used to create a smooth, easy-to-take texture. It helps the gel go down comfortably without stickiness or heaviness mid-run.

Sorbus aucuparia L. (Rowan Berry Extract)
A botanical extract rich in natural antioxidants. Included to support gut comfort and reduce irritation during endurance exercise

WE KEPT IT SIMPLE

30g carbs. One every 30 minutes.

Fuelling made simple. Take one gel every half hour to keep energy steady and recovery on track.

Two carb sources, easier absorption.

Glucose and fructose use different pathways in the gut, so you can absorb more with less stomach stress.

Built for training, race day ready.

Designed for everyday sessions as well as race day, helping you perform today and recover for tomorrow.

How does it work?

Each gel delivers 30g of carbs in a gut-friendly glucose–fructose blend, so you absorb more energy with less stomach stress.

When do I take it?

If you’re exercising for 60 minutes or more, take one every 30 minutes to keep energy steady and support recovery.

ExoAnalytics Testing: The Science Behind “We’ve Run the Numbers for You”

What We Did

We partnered with Dr Sam Impey and ExoAnalytics, experts in performance nutrition, to test how much of the carbohydrate from our gels is actually used as fuel during exercise.

How It Works

Athletes consumed Puresport Gels during controlled runs, with each gel traced using Carbon-13 isotopes. Breath samples showed exactly how much carbohydrate was burned for energy versus what stayed in the gut.

What We Found

The group’s average oxidation rate was 49 g/hour. When adjusted for real-world efficiency (≈80%), that equals 60 g/hour— perfectly matching our guidance:one gel every 30 minutes.

What It Means for Runners

Most runners perform best fuelling at~60 g/hour. One Puresport Gel every 30 minutes keeps energy steady, delays fatigue, and speeds up recovery between sessions.
